Kathryn "Kay" Carr is Secretary to the Laboratory Director/Location Coordinator/Research Leader at the Insect Biology and Population Management Research Laboratory, Tifton, GA, and supervises an Office Automation Clerk. In 1962, Kay began her USDA-ARS career. She has over 22 years as a supervisory secretary, and has supervised as many as four clerk typists in a clerical pool. She has served as a Location EEO Officer and on numerous committees. Several certificates /honors/ awards received during her career are listed below:

Outstanding "FWP Woman of the Year" for the SAA Area (1983)

Presently serves on the National Secretarial Advisory Council (1994-1998).
Serves as the Technical Advisor to the South Atlantic Area Council through 1998.
