Congratulations, Kay!!!

Kathryn "Kay" Carr is Secretary to the Laboratory Director/Location Coordinator/Research Leader at the Insect Biology and Population Management Research Laboratory, Tifton, GA, and supervises an Office Automation Clerk. In 1962, Kay began her USDA-ARS career. She has over 22 years as a supervisory secretary, and has supervised as many as four clerk typists in a clerical pool. She has served as a Location EEO Officer and on numerous committees. Several certificates /honors/ awards received during her career are listed below:

Outstanding "FWP Woman of the Year" for the SAA Area (1983)

Appreciation Certificate Award from the American Registry Professional Entomologists (ESA) for secretarial support

Served on the National Secretarial Review Task Group (1992-1994)

Presently serves on the National Secretarial Advisory Council (1994-1998).

Serves as the Technical Advisor to the South Atlantic Area Council through 1998.
