Unknown Lepidoptera

1. Pyralidae #353-01 - Total length 1.4 cm. Collected in Atlinson Co., GA, USA, September 2001. Gray with indistinct black markings.
2. Pyralidae #361-01 - Total length 1.6 cm. Collected in Atkinson Co., GA, USA, September, 2001. Gray with black markings.
3. Noctuidae #5-01 - Wingspan 5.5 cm. Collected in Atkinson Co., GA, USA, August 2001. I also collected 1 specimen of this species in Guadeloupe (West Indies) in July, 1996. Emerged with abnormal wings. There is a distinctive bar of white scales connecting the bases of the antennae. Tan in color.
4. Noctuidae #376-01 Wingspan 2.4 cm. Collected in Atkinson, Co., GA, USA, September, 2001. Emerged with abnormal wings. Gray with black markings. The reniform spot consists of a semicircular black mark with a semicircular light band on the outer edge, followed by another black mark.

5. Noctuidae or Notodontidae? Wingspan: 2.5 to 3.0 cm. Body length 1.5cm. Gray with very narrow black stripes parallel to long axis of forewing. Hindwing light gray with dark marking at edge. Emerged from a pupal case inside a white cocoon (0.8x2.0 cm). Collected in south Georgia near Tifton.
